Myself Anjana, currently residing in KSA, with my Husband, Arun. We are from one of the most beautiful, nostalgic place in the world, Kerala, India.

Before our marriage I was only a visitor of our kitchen to eat Amma’s (Mom) food, but sometimes a helper. I never forget to put comments especially about the amount of salt and oil. :) But truly speaking, she is having a real talent to produce excellent taste in a very short time, even when she is preparing it for the first time. And so, very rarely I got a chance to do some experiments in the kitchen. My father too have some special recipes, he prepares them to satisfy us (My Brother and me) when Mom is busy with her official work. Well, I was having the habit of note down some of the good recipes from magazines or TV shows.

After my marriage, my Mother-In-Law was doing most of the cooking. So again, I was playing the role of a helper ;) . But when I came here with my Husband, the scene began to change, as my role changed to main Chef instead of a helper. Many times I have done online cooking with either of our Moms. Thanks to skype :) . My Husband, being an IT professional, gave me the idea of blogging. In my personal blog I have posted photos of some of my cooking experiments. Many of our family members were surprised to see variety of foods that I have made. When the number of photos increased my Husband suggested to start a recipe site. Thus we are here. He is the official tester and taster of all my foods and sometimes a chef too… We love trying variety of foods and don’t miss any chance to try something we never ate. ;)

Being an Indian, most of our daily dishes are mainly traditional ones. Of course some of them are multi cuisine. Initially, I have tried the recipes adapted from our moms. Later, after gaining some confidence in cooking, I tried the recipes from some cooking books and some are from my own recipe collection. Now I love to do the recipes from various recipe sites, hope I have mentioned those names whenever applicable. But in most times, the measurement may not be the same.

Well, I am not an expert cook, but the recipes in this site are tested by us and tasted good for sure. Many of these are very simple recipes as I loved being lazy :) .

Please feel free to tell your suggestions, and I appreciate your valuable feedback.

Thanks for stopping by!!! Enjoy cooking.

Cheers….
