Ingredients
  • Potato: 1
  • Carrot: 1
  • Onion: 1
  • Garlic: 5-8 pods
  • Turmeric powder: 1/2 tsp
  • Pepper powder: 1/2 tsp
  • Garam Masala: 1/2 tsp
  • Dried chilly: 4
  • Salt: as required
  • Curry leaves
  • Oil

Potato Carrot Fry

 Initial preparations:

  • Cut the carrot and potato in to long thin pieces.
  • Slice the onion.

Steps:

  1. Heat oil in a pan.
  2. Add crushed garlic, followed by sliced onion and curry leaves.
  3. Once the onion turns slightly brown add crushed chillies.
  4. Put turmeric powder, salt and garam masala.
  5. Mix it well and add sliced carrot and potato.
  6. Add the pepper powder and mix well.
  7. Add enough water to get the vegetables cooked.
  8. Cook in low flame and stir occasionally until it becomes dry.
