Ingredients
  • Cauliflower - 1 medium
  • Capsicum - 1 medium
  • Onions - 2 medium
  • Tomatoes - 1 big
  • Cumin powder - 1/2 tsp.
  • Garam masala powder - 1/4 tsp.
  • Coriander powder - 3/4 tsp.
  • Turmeric powder - a pinch
  • Chilli powder - 2 tsp. (add more if you need it spicy)
  • Ginger-garlic paste - 1 tsp.
  • Salt as required.
  • Coriander leaf as required.
Cuisine: Cooking time: 30 mins Serving: 3 people

Initial preparations:

  • Clean and cut the Cauliflower into small florets and dip it on boiling water along with a little salt and turmeric powder for 15 minutes.
  • Filter the water and keep the Cauliflower aside.
  • Slice the onions, and cut tomato and capsicum in to small cubes.
  • Prepare the ginger garlic paste.

Steps:

  1. Heat oil in a pan, add onion and saute until it is light brown, put a pinch of salt if required.
  2. Add ginger garlic paste along with cumin, garam masala , coriander and chilli powder.
  3. Add required amount of salt and saute well.
  4. Add the cauliflower florets along with required amount of water to get it cooked.
  5. When it is half done, add the capsicum and tomato, saute well.
  6. Close the pan with a lid and cook it for around 5-10 minutes.
  7. Garnish with coriander leaves.

Works well with chappathy and rice.
