  • Chappathi
  • Chicken (boneless): 300 g
  • Onion: 2 medium
  • Capsicum: 1/2 cup
  • Ginger: a small cube
  • Garlic: 2-3 pods
  • Curry leaves
  • Salt
  • Turmeric powder: 1/2 tsp
  • Chicken masala: 1/4 tsp
  • Pepper powder: 1/4 tsp
  • Tomato ketchup: 1/2-1 tsp
  • Mustard seeds
  • Oil
Cuisine: Cooking time: 20-25 mins Serving: 2-3 people

Initial preparations:



  1. Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds.
  2. When it splutters, add chopped onions, salt and mix well.
  3. Add ginger, garlic and curry leaves when onions become transparent.
  4. Add sliced capsicum and saute well.
  5. When it is half cooked, add turmeric powder, pepper powder and chicken masala. Mix it well.
  6. Add sliced chicken, stir well, add very little water and cook it by covering the pan.
  7. Saute it in between and add tomato ketch up after evaporating all the water content.
  8. Take a chappathi and put a table spoon of the above mix as filling.
  9. Roll it by folding the sides.
  10. You may foil it with wrapper if required.


  • You may use tortilla bread, or normal bread instead of chappati.
