  • Pepper powder: 1 tsp
  • Salt: as required
Other ingredients
  • Prawns: 6 piece (medium sized)
  • Potato: 2 medium
  • Carrot: 1 medium
  • Onion: 1 no
  • Green Chilly: 1-2 nos
  • Bread crumbs: as required to cover
  • Egg white: 2 eggs
  • Chilly powder: 1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder: 1/4 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste: 1/2 tsp
  • Curry leaves: as required
  • Salt: as required
  • Oil for frying

Initial preparations:

  1. Marinate the cleaned prawns with pepper and salt, you may cut the prawns in to small pieces
  2. Boil and mash the potato along with carrot
  3. Chop onion, chilly, and curry leaves in to small pieces



  1. In a pan, heat the oil, shallow fry the marinated prawns until it is half cooked, keep it aside.
  2. In the same oil, add ginger garlic paste followed by chopped onion.
  3. Add green chilly and chopped curry leaves.
  4. Add the prawns, the chilly and turmeric powders, mix well and keep it aside.
  5. Mix the cooked stuff with mashed potato and carrot.
  6. Form the desired shape for the cutlet.
  7. Dip each cutlet in egg white, and then the bread crumbs.
  8. Heat oil in another pan, and deep fry the cutlets.

Server it hot with tomato sauce.

We could make approx. 10 cutlets with this quantity.
