Ingredients
  • Raw Mango : 1 medium
  • Coconut : half portion (grated)
  • Shallots : 2-3 nos.
  • Curry leaves : 1-2
  • Chilly Powder : 1 1/2Tab sp (add more if you need it more hot)
  • Salt : to taste
Cuisine: Cooking time: 3 mins Serving: 3 people

Initial Preparations:

  • For easy grinding, cut the mango and shallots into medium sized slices.

Steps:

  1. Grind together the sliced mango and shallots in a mixer.
  2. Add grated coconut, curry leaves, chilly powder and salt to the mixer and grind again until it is done.
  3. Put the ground paste into a bowl and mix it well  with your hand to get an extra taste.
  4. Serve it with rice.

 

Raw Mango Chutney

Tips

  • Add dried prawn powder while grinding to get an extra awesome taste.
  • You could replace the raw mango with salted mango if available.
  • Nice combination with rice and yoghurt/leban.
